Living Yoga Retreat

July 30th - August 2nd, 2020

About the Retreat

During this four day and three night retreat, nestled in the woods cliffside the Potomac River, we will immerse ourselves in the practices of yoga movement, philosophy, meditation and unplugging in nature. You will be relieved of the mundane daily tasks and engaged in self study and nourishment. All yoga practices, workshops, and excursions are optional, giving you the freedom to tailor the schedule to your needs and desires. Content will include teachings to enrich your home movement and meditation practices, deepen your understanding of Ayurveda, and serve in aligning you to living your yoga. This retreat includes 8 hours of continuing education for Yoga Alliance certified teachers, and an optional juice cleanse for all participants at additional cost.

About the retreat leader

Whitney Ingram
Whitney Ingram Whitney Ingram E-RYT 500, is the owner of Moving Mountains Yoga studio and Founding Member of Moving Mountains Organization. She has been a yoga practitioner since 2007 and a teacher since 2012 with a previous career in the beauty and wellness industry. Whitney co-teaches 200 and 300 hour teacher trainings, as well as developed and co-teaches a Trauma Informed Yoga training. She is trained in Prana Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, and is an Ayurvedic Specialist. Additionally, she is a continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance, an Ambassador for the Prison Yoga Project and has been featured in Mantra Magazine and Yoga Journal.

Whitney blends various styles of yoga to meet the needs of each student in the moment and never skimps on rest and relaxation. She has an appreciation for creating immersive experiences that are lighthearted and yet mindfully curated to enrich a persons personal practice and self care. Her passion is to bring yoga to all and to support community.
