About the Retreat

Fall is a time of transition and transformation. Yoga Centric’s Autumn Awakening retreat is designed to help you handle anything that comes up this season and release what’s no longer serving you. Yoga can be an amazing way to cope with the varied emotions that are associated with any degree of change. This retreat will offer a variety of self-care tools through yoga, journal prompts, meditation, breathing techniques, workshops and partner activities. This four night five day immersion can create a state of mind and body in harmony by slowing down, giving room for reflection and allowing change with ease.

Alexis Yauch and Candice Hennessey located out of Bel Air, Maryland are inspired to create an experience for those looking to build a deeper connection to self through mindfulness. Candice has been building her yoga career and business since 2015. She believes in creating a community that allows people to just “be”. This idea of just being as you are exists in the heart of her teaching style. Candice specializes in all level practices and is mindful of each community member she teaches to. Since graduating from teacher training Candice has lead multiple teacher training and created a variety of studio classes geared towards special populations. Vinyasa flow, yoga with weights, and gentle yoga have allowed Candice to share her creative love for yoga.
Alexis found her home practice at the age of 16 first. From those early years until now her practice has transformed into teaching. Alexis believes in allowing students to embrace the concept of letting go of expectation and judgment. Both Alexis and Candice share a love of breath-work and anatomical awareness to support each individual’s practice.


Beautifully furnished with unique antiques from India, Casa Om sits on 60 picturesque acres looking out at the Potomac in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Get ready to renew, refresh and relax, enjoy delicious organic vegetarian meals, and experience a wonderful blend of West Virginia river country hospitality and classical Indian yoga experience.
