We’ll practice hot yoga daily, with freezing ice baths to light the inner fire, kundalini pranayama, workshops, handstands, cozy bonfires, calisthenics, cave chanting and meditations (yes! in an ancient cave), an epic live music sound bath, massage and more. Your body will never feel better.

Hey my friends!

This is Hargobind
I am stoked to meet you. When I wandered out to West Virginia, I got in way over my head to build this retreat center. I was in so much trouble there was a real chance that no one would ever come. It broke me down to my most humble place as I battled budget issues, snakes, bees, the heat, the cold, crooked contractors, construction delays, my own self doubt and nearly lost my family. I almost killed myself by accident and squandered all my wealth. But I survived and my vision was 100% on point. This place is epic and the events are of the highest quality. This is now the only hot yoga retreat center in the United States. But it’s that and far more!

I can’t wait to share all our methods with you.

Hot Yoga is a therapeutic healing sequence of poses practiced in a hot humid room. It’s great for stress, a clear mind, high blood pressure, circulation, the production of shock proteins, stretching, relaxation, promotes great sleep, stretching and strengthening. You likely won’t sweat like this anywhere else in winter which is great for your skin and makes your body feel fantastic.

The ice bath practice is inspired by the wim hoff method with mixtures of kundalini breathing techniques and our own unique spin. The ice in the winter is a communion with nature in the rawest, purest form. The cold water stimulates blood flow, boosts testosterone, reduces stress, increases confidence, and shows you that you’re stronger than you think. It’s a tiny investment for massive mental breakthroughs.

Dharmify is based on my book Dharmify: A daily practice to get your mind right, your business tight, to be a love light so you feel alright. Its a 7 step method for cultivating the most aligned, powerful, purposeful choices in love, life and business. It’s extra helpful if you’re a yogi because you’ll be so familiar with the concepts. We’ll go on the dharmify journey but you can zero in on a habit, business, love life, community or family issue. You’ll walk away with the most holistic perspective on how to control what you can control and let go of what you can’t change.

The handstands that I teach are based on my training with Nico Montes de Oca from Cirque Du Soleil. His refinement of the method is so precise that I think I can teach you in a short time what took me years to learn. The precision will change the way you practice all yoga poses even if you dont want to spend the time to learn an actual handstand. This is for beginners and beyond.


My new bonfire area with adirondack chairs is not just any bonfire pit. I made it with an excavator! I had to do it while no one was watching because my wife kept cautioning me to be careful so I didn’t drive off the cliff and die. Needless to say I placed boulders around the edge first, so I was totally safe. This space is very special to me. For my birthday I rented the excavator and hunted for the biggest stones in the forest I could find. I scooped them up and dropped them on my trailer, then pulled them with my F150 Ford truck all the way back to the river. I then used a skid steer to level the dirt and placed the rocks as a retainer element to prevent erosion. You have to see it! We tell the best stories, make s’mores and search for the stars in the night here. This is sure to put a smile on your face and strength in your heart.

Cave Chanting and Meditations is a trip back in time, to simpler pleasures. To the days of the Opequan Indian tribes who once lived here. When the Potomac river was the main thoroughfare for trade and prosperity in the region, this property was a key trading post. We so happen to own the Indian River Cave on property only a short hike from the main house. I will guide you there into total darkness where we have a moment of reprieve from the outside world, cell phones, noise and light. Just like our yogi ancestors of the past from the real India, we get our own cave yoga space called Indian River Cave. What are the chances?! The stillness of the earth provides a special moment of peace. Add in the mantra chanting and silent meditation and it’s an inner and outer journey of cosmic proportions. It could be the breakthrough you’re looking for.

Sound Bath

Sound baths promote relaxation, stress reduction, and clarity of mind. Our friends bring gongs, crystal bowls, singing bowls, instruments and more as you layout and bliss out into an induced state of calmness and relaxation. Get ready for the most restful evening sleep in your cozy bed just a few steps from the yoga room.


Our retreat is supported by Kelly Delong a licensed massage therapist and wonderful healer. Massage promotes circulation, recovery, stress reduction, and muscle repair. It increases feelings of well being. Coupled with all our activities, it has a multiplier effect that will seal the positive experience for you. It will likely be the best massage of your life because of all the other work you are doing. An extra fee applies but should not be missed!

Mantra & Mindset is a new workshop!
Mantra makes the (wo)man.
Here we get into an introduction to kundalini mantras, positive affirmations and how words form our identity. This was the key tool I used when building Casa Om Potomac to keep me believing in myself, higher power, and the vision. In this class I will share mantras from ancient Sanskrit and Gurmukhi and even the Bible but the mantra that saved me was simple. “I can do this”. I kept repeating it over and over until I was a true believer and my identity shifted to being a builder. We’ll practice some of the old mantras and also help you find your unique mantras so you see how your thoughts and words create your reality. If you are going through a transition you have to have your mindset right and your mantras ready.

Yoga Goals

If I can leave you with one more positive tool to guide your yoga practice it’s to set a yoga goal. And ironically it’s not only about the goal. It’s the journey that the goal will take you on. Two years ago I set the goal of one arm handstand. I am still not there! But combined with my dharmify method the goal setting will take you into the most unknown and special places where you meet extraordinary people and see new things. In my case, this is how I met my coach Nico and made so many new friends in the process. He then ran his immersion at casa om mexico so it was good for my business too. We will search for those special goals for you too so you leave the retreat with a whole new trajectory in your practice.

About the cuisine

Siri Om is the inspiration behind our menu. Her vision was to create a healthy, complete protein, fresh, made from scratch menus that leave you full, energized and inspired. We run a vegetarian kitchen inspired by the practice of ahimsa or non violence to the animals as much as possible. Our open kitchen concept lets you see what we are cooking and feel free to ask a chef what’s for on the stove. Additional recipes were contributed by Hargobind, and Chase.

About the Retreat Leaders

Siri Om Khalsa

Siri Om will infuse insight and depth into your practice. She will break down the complexities of the postures and make them approachable at any level. She blends science with mysticism. Siri Om’s teaching style is student focused and aimed at passionately bringing you home to your heart.

Siri Om was born into a family of yoginis, is certified in several styles of yoga, studied with Yoga Masters and lived in an ashram for almost four years. She has a devout practice and has taught Yoga since 2000 worldwide. She has created a successful brand of yoga studios and co-founder of Casa Om retreat centers.

Hargobind Khalsa

Hargobind Khalsa was born in an ashram and grew up in India. After breaking a vertebrae in his back, he began practicing yoga with regularity. He completed Kundalini yoga training in India in 2000 and again in the USA in 2001. He completed Sterling Hot Yoga training in 2014 and Jared McCann’s Vinyasa training in 2015. He has done additional training in yin, satnam rasayan, and yoga with weights. He is the co founder , Casa Om and the One Fire Hot Yoga Festival.
