Spring Renewal and Rejuvenation Retreat

About the Retreat

Join Carolyn and Rita for a weekend of self-care , yoga, nature, community and good food in a beautiful setting on the water in West Virginia. Only an hour and a half away you will experience practices that open you up for all the new possibilities Spring offers us. Together we will have a variety of yoga practices for healing, relaxation and holistic wellness. You will come away rejuvenated with tools for creating and maintaining balance in your life.

About the Teachers

Rita MaximilianRita is a Yoga Alliance registered, 500HR YogaWorks certified teacher and an Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) Health Coach. She has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 15 years now, and has been enthusiastic about wellness and nutrition even longer. Rita is passionate about helping people reach their goals be it on the yoga mat and real life. Both her yoga teaching and health coaching practices are based on the principle of empowering people to learn and navigate their own journey and self-study towards a healthier and happier life. Her yoga teaching style follows the principles of incorporating alignment together with flow and attention to breath. She believes that every path is unique and she strives to help her students and clients to find their own journey. Originally from Hungary, Rita moved to the US to complete her graduate studies and now loves living in the DC area because she can meet new people every day, learn about all cultures and traditions and incorporate our diverse way of life in her teaching and coaching practices. Rita is a wife and a mom to a 6 year old human boy and a 10 year old four legged fury one.

Carolyn Weininger E-RYT 500, YACEP – Carolyn started teaching in 2001. Over the years she has studied different styles of yoga with many yoga teachers. She has over 800 hours of yoga teacher training and draws from a variety of influences. She creates a safe place where students can learn, play and get strong. Working hard and focusing inward is a journey of self-discovery. For the past two years she has served as an Athleta Ambassador and leads events that support women and girls in the N.VA area. When she is not teaching she enjoys music, travel, cycling and spending time with her friends and family.
