About the Retreat

A Beautiful Retreat Center in a Peaceful setting on the Potomac River
with spectacular authentic Indian décor

Only 1.5 hours from Bethesda

Nurture yourself with healing & relaxing practice time as well as quiet reflection by the river, a walk in the woods or sitting by the charming outdoor pool in a natural setting.

Our weekend will be filled with Mindful Meditation, Slow Flow Yoga, Yin and Restorative Yoga and home cooked vegetarian meals. Connect with community and bring a sense of peace and calm to your life.

Our retreat will be a rich experience as we practice various gentle & rejuvenating yoga styles, connect with each other & ourselves, spend time in nature & find time to relax & rejuvenate.

About the Teachers

Yoga instructor and owner of Simon Says Yoga

Shauna, founder of Simon Says Yoga, discovered Yoga at age 17 in a search for self discovery and an experience apart from the norm. She lived in a Yoga community (ashram) for over 20 years, traveling to India several times and truly integrating the practice of yoga into her everyday life. She brought up her children, now adults, from birth with Yoga and Meditation as a building block in order to face the challenges of life with the tools to live an insightful, mindful and peaceful life. Shauna’s passion is building community and offering a yoga practice that is nurturing and uplifting. Her experience is diverse, with 20 years as a music teacher, and twice as many as an aspiring yogi, she loves to work with yogis of all ages, from little ones to seniors~

Finding a balance in life is Shauna’s focus, between the worldly and spiritual, seriousness and fun, strength and softness.
She looks to Martin Luther King Jr. as an inspiration with his words:
“We must combine the toughness of the serpent with the softness of the dove, a tough mind and a tender heart.”

Susan has been committed to an alignment based Hatha and Iyengar yoga practice for over a dozen years. Her practice has been an insightful and compassionate guide to cultivating balance, flexibility and strength in all aspects of her life. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with the Simon Says Yoga family, and has training in Yin Yoga and Mat Pilates and Reiki Healing as well. Susan looks forward to sharing her experience and enthusiasm for healthy movement with you.

Shared Room – $625

Non Participating Partner – $250
(includes room and food only)

Stay with your significant other, eat with us, take a walk, read, rest and have a refreshing swim

Cancellation Policy:
Up to 30 days before – full refund, minus $75 admin fee
Up to 2 weeks before – 75% of total cost will be refunded
After 14 days before – no refunds will be issued
